A six decade old company with stagnated numbers from past many years is seeing some interesting signs of revival. A rights issue which was just concluded did not just bring fresh capital but also a new set of promoter. Although still not categorised as promoter, Sanjay Mehta and his family has picked up more than 10% stake. More important thing to note is that he is now appointed as the MD of the company

Aplab’s numbers in June quarter are showing signs of revival. More interestingly the latest AR gives us some sneak peek on what the company is upto and highlights is market leadership in products within PCCE. Given the small base and ambition to focus on defense and aviation sector makes it worthwhile to track this stock.
